
AJRJ Photography -
Founded in an Evanston Cafe in January of 2008
AJRJ Photography has been a growing partnership. Initially run out of
Robin's condo the partners now have a photo studio and offices in the West
Loop. Since beginning the two have shot for clients as diverse as wedding
clients, the Laurie Garden in Millennium Park, Heron Adornment and the
Chicago Street Musicians Organization, among others. Their well-rounded
experiences have made them versatile and adaptive photographers, able to
accurately create the image that their clients envision.
Robin J Carlson -
After graduating in 2003 with a BFA from the Rhode
Island School of Design Robin became the staff photographer for the
Chicago Botanic Garden in 2006. Her job responsibilities include all
aspects of photography and post production work including nature,
portrait, product and event. She also volunteers her photographic services
for Human Rights Campaign, International Chamber Artists and Midwest Young
Artists. Her work has been published in many local news publications, and
gardening magazines. Robin is currently pursuing a graduate degree in
photography from Columbia College.
AJ Kane -
AJ has a BA in photography from Columbia College.
He has been a professional photographer since 2006. His photos have been
published The New York Times, The Journal of Nature, Make Magazine,
and in other venues. As an additional skill AJ speaks enough Spanish to
direct a simple photoshoot or wedding formals. When not taking photos AJ
owns and curates The AJ Kane Gallery in the West Loop Arts' District.
